Louise Stalker
With over twenty years’ experience in the helping professions and five years working as an ACC Sensitive Claims Counsellor, Louise Stalker offers a compassionate and holistic therapeutic space for recovery and self-awareness.
Louise holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology (University of Canterbury), a Master of Applied Social Work (University of Canterbury), a Graduate Diploma in Psychology (Massey University), and a Postgraduate Diploma in Social Policy (Massey University). She is an ACC-registered Counsellor, GOYA-registered for online therapy, and a member of ANZASW.
Her approach integrates talk therapy, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, breathwork, and art-based interventions, combining evidence-based and creative right- and left-brain methods. Each session provides space to explore trauma, regulate emotions, and restore inner balance. Louise’s work is trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally responsive, offering a grounded, safe, and respectful environment where clients are supported to heal and reconnect with themselves.
